Hot hot hot…..
Tonight (Monday) we have the grand finale of our 3 month
long Poker tournament, we are giving away 200€ bar tab,
Plus the winner goes into a final table to win a 2000€ entry
to the euro poker tour, starts at 6pm well worth a look.

Tuesday, should be over 30 degrees again!!!! If you want to really
cool off come enjoy our fresh cold bar, we have turned the AC down
so come down chi lax and enjoy a few.

Coopers Pale Ale & Sparkling are now back in stock along with
that funny beer VB. We also have more good news, who likes
Boags beers from Tazzy? We got them coming end of August.
And for you Kiwi’s Steinlager Pure, is coming soon.

Wednesday- Like Music with Blackout at 9:30pm

Thursday- DJ sleazy @ 9:30pm cheap as cocktails from 7pm
until 11pm

Friday & Saturday DJ’s both nights will be a hoot.
Also at 1pm this Saturday Australia vs. New Zealand @ 1pm
Tri Nations.

Sunday, let’s pray for snow.

Danni is leaving us, and will be missed by all; she will be leaving
in September.

Football	No a hell of a lot on at the moment…. However next week the football session kicks off again. RTFO
Ice Hockey	Ice Hockey World Cup 2011 Kicks off May Lets see if Finland can do it this time???

We’ll be having all sorts of events, from live sports broadcasts on our big screens, to bands and dancing.

Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays are great days to come and chill, have a chat with the staff, with a great atmosphere. then there’s a chance to liven things up if the mood is right.

Welcome to our two new lovely bar chicks Danny & Leeh, make sure your nice to them.

Sundays	Lazy Sundays, Normally the staff will be happy to have a yak with ya, and play some groovy tunes. Great day for a cold Snake bite.
Mondays Tuesday	Summer almost here! Our two terraces are open and Sun on it everyday, we are getting a roof put over in a few weeks in case it’s raining, with heating of course.
Wednesdays	Live Music!!! from 9:30 every week….
Thursdays	Cocktail Night with cocktail specials from 7:30 to 11pm. With DJ’s from 9:30pm We are sure we make the BEST Mojito’s in all of Helsinki – come and be the judge!
Fridays & Saturdays	DJ’s pumping out funky beats from rock to pop 9.30pm till 3am. Every weekend just gets bigger and better!! Don’t be late! Start and end your weekend at the Aussie!!!

How good is it to be Australian…
Being Australian is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, and then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

Only in Australia… can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
Only in Australia… do supermarkets make sick people walk all the way to the back of the shop to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
Only in Australia… do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries and a DIET coke.
Only in Australia… do banks leave both doors open and chain the pens to the counters.
Only in Australia… do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars on the drive and lock our junk and cheap lawn mower in the garage.
Only in Australia… do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won’t miss a call from someone we didn’t want to talk to in the first place.
Only in Australia… are there disabled parking places in front of a skating rink.

NOT TO MENTION…
3 Aussies die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue
142 Aussies were injured in 1999 by not removing all pins from new shirts
58 Aussies are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers
31 Aussies have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree
while the fairy lights were plugged in
8 Aussies had serious burns in 2000 trying on a new jumper
with a lit cigarette in their mouth
A massive 543 Aussies were admitted to Emergency in the last two years
after opening bottles of beer with their teeth
